Land Rover Series Mount Kit For R380 & LT230

Modifications will need to be carried out alongside this kit. It’s important that all work is to be carried out by a competent mechanic.

Important! A pre 2004 LT230 Transfer Box must be used to be compatible. See images.

This pre 2004 LT230 has the 3 bolt holes on the diff lock housing (left image)
This Later LT230 below doesn’t have the 3 bolt holes used for the mounts. (right image)

Assembling your mounts. Your mounts will arrive unwelded unless stated otherwise. We recommend tack welding these together and fitting to check for alignment before full welding.

Series 2 Chassis will require that the front cross member needs the webs on the nearside / passenger side cutting out to allow for the slave cylinder. (image left)

It is required that the LT230 Transfer box needs a small amount of aluminium to be removed as this hits the cross member (image right)

Some chassis will require the handbrake bracket to be removed for clearance.
